Job description
We are looking for an Affordable Housing Associate with 2-7 years of experience to join our growing, mission-driven practice. You will be a key player in expanding our team's capacity to handle a robust pipeline of complex affordable housing transactions in South Florida.
What will you be doing?
- Structure, negotiate, and close complex affordable housing transactions.
- Work on Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) and tax-exempt bond financings.
- Manage layered public-private financing structures involving various funding sources.
- Draft and negotiate key legal documents, including partnership and loan agreements.
- Coordinate closings across multiple capital sources and counterparties.
Key Requirements
- 2-7 years of transactional experience in affordable housing, real estate, project finance, or a related practice area.
- Admitted to the Florida Bar or eligible for admission.
- Strong academic credentials from an accredited law school.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proven ability to manage complex closings with multiple moving parts.
Salary $225K - $410K

JD from a reputable law school (not bottom-of-class tier 3/4). Hard skills
Drafting and negotiating complex transactional documents.
Experience with LIHTC, tax-exempt bonds, or public finance.

Must work from the Miami office on a hybrid basis.
Demonstrated long-term commitment to living and working in Miami. Traits to avoid
Pure M&A or litigation backgrounds without transactional experience.
Experience is only residential landlord-tenant or eviction defense.
Multiple short tenures (<18 months) without clear explanation.
