The Role
At Mistral, you’ll build and support the infrastructure behind sovereign AI. As an Operations Engineer, you’ll work at the intersection of frontier models, products, and compute, ensuring our large-scale Linux environments, cloud systems, and AI workloads run reliably. - Troubleshoot and resolve incidents to ensure high availability, performance, and security for our models, products, and compute platforms.
- Collaborate with research, product, and infrastructure teams to align systems with AI and customer needs.
- Provide technical support to customers and internal teams, diagnosing issues, guiding solutions, and ensuring smooth operations.
- Explore and contribute to modern cloud-native technologies, including Kubernetes and GPU orchestration, as we evolve our sovereign AI platform.
What We're Looking For
- Strong Linux system administration experience at scale.
- Proficiency in Slurm and/or Kubernetes to manage workloads effectively.
- Familiarity with distributed storage, high performance networking, cloud security, or GPU/AI/ML workloads is a plus.
- Customer-focused mindset: Ability to diagnose, explain, and resolve technical issues for users leveraging Mistral’s AI solutions.
- Pragmatic, collaborative, and hands-on - you thrive at the intersection of AI, infrastructure, and customer success, and are eager to drive modernisation in a fast-evolving landscape.
