As an Application Engineer, you will visit our customers or prospective customers in person to generate a Scope Of Work (SOW) by observing rotating equipment, reviewing engineering documents, engineering key Augury hardware or software applications, and helping develop the value of condition monitoring.

A Day In Your Life

  • Plan and execute site visits with customers; professionally represent Augury in the field.
  • Work closely with Augury Sales and Engineering teams to drive SOW creation at customer sites.
  • Walk through facilities to observe rotating machines, and design the application of hardware and software solutions to meet the needs of our customers.
  • Write site visit reports. Manage the handoff of SOW to Sales and Implementation/Installation teams via internal tools.
  • Effectively manage time and administrative tasks, which include, but are not limited to, service reports, customer action lists, asset lists, Salesforce, and other project management software.
  • Train to sharpen your skillset and capabilities: Learn and research different aspects of manufacturing industries, condition monitoring technologies, reliability techniques, and maintenance, also different machines and manufacturing operations.
  • This job requires up to 90% travel to visit sites for scope generation.

What You Bring

  • Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (preferably Chemical, Mechanical, or equivalent) or 5 years of experience working in manufacturing in Operations, Maintenance, or Reliability.
  • Desire to work and learn in a fast paced environment.
  • Drive: A love of cutting-edge technology, industrial businesses, and can think on your feet. You are looking for an opportunity to join a company that is changing the manufacturing industry.
  • Superb communication skills: You love interacting live with customers and have the ability to lead technical discovery discussions at the site level of an organization. Craft questions for customers to identify the best scope of work, implementation technique, and intersect application selection with value for the customer’s organization.
  • Must have a valid driver's license, passport, and the ability to successfully pass a background check.
  • Residence in the US, ideally within one hour of a major airport. Able to travel internationally when required.
  • Vibration Analyst Category I or II certification is a plus.
  • Experience working in industrial environments is a plus.
  • Professional presence and ability to represent Augury in the field.

The pay range for this position in Colorado, California, and New York is a base salary of $75,000 - $95,000 This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. The pay offered may vary depending on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, and experience.
