Application Support Analyst
Key responsibilities:
- Monitor Production Systems: Continuously monitor the health and performance of production applications using monitoring tools and dashboards.
- Incident Management: Respond to and resolve application incidents, ensuring minimal impact on business operations. Document incidents and their resolutions.
- Root Cause Analysis: Conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
- Collaboration: Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to identify and resolve application issues.
- Performance Tuning: Analyze application performance and implement tuning measures to optimize system performance.
- Deployment Support: Assist in the deployment of new releases and patches, ensuring minimal disruption to production services.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of application support procedures, incident resolutions, and system configurations.
- User Support: Provide support to end-users and stakeholders, addressing their queries and issues related to production applications.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance the efficiency and reliability of application support.
Skillset (Must have)
- CAT-1 cleared/eligible candidate is required for this role.
- Possess a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in application support or development in Python, SQL, Unix, Java, AWS, Datadog, CICD Pipelines, and Git.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
