ACCOUNTABILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS

As an Art Director, your responsibilities will include:

  • Responsible for working in partnership with account team members to concept, design, and execute multiple client projects simultaneously like social graphics, digital marketing (email and social), and online advertising campaigns;
  • Establishing art direction, style and tone for brand campaigns across all channels;
  • Ensuring visual designs adhere to project requirements, objectives, and timelines and upholding brand standards across all projects with a keen eye for typography, graphic design, and illustration;
  • Liaise with clients to understand their expectations and develop and present a creative or brand strategy for approval;
  • Managing timelines, tasks, and budgets for each project;
  • Managing and mentoring digital design team members and freelancers including, reviews, workflows, timelines and design delegation;
  • Interpreting complex ideas into visual narratives and brainstorming strategies with senior team members;
  • Negotiating with contractors and social media influencers to ensure timelines and project expectations are met.

Essential Skills:

  • Education Requirement: Master’s degree in fine arts, strategic design and management or related field and 1 year of experience in the position offered or related occupation.
  • Other Special Skills or Requirements: Must have demonstrated proficiency with:
  • Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Animate, Flash, XD), AutoCAD (Basics), Invision, Sketch, Google Slides, Keynote, and Microsoft Powerpoint;
  • Conceptual thinking and hands-on design skills, including knowledge of video editing and animation as well as experience with Web Flow, Asana, and mailchimp;
  • Typography, color, layout, production, and other design principles along with knowledge of file naming, file formats, pixel dimensions, web optimization, and design accessibility;
  • Changing design aesthetic and approach to fit a variety of output mediums, campaigns and audiences;
  • Interpreting complex ideas visually through color, photography and typography;
  • Communicating and managing the design process with stakeholders.

SALARY: The base salary is $128,398.00 per year. HOURS: 40 hours per week, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. (Mon-Fri) JOB LOCATION: 195 Broadway, 26th Floor, New York, NY 10007
