Keeley Construction is looking for an Assistant Project Manager to join our Civil team in Austin, TX.
Primary Responsibilities
- Coordinate work and correspondence between all project team members.
- Manage all documentation related to construction project.
- Assist in bid solicitation, estimate functions, and estimate takeoffs.
- Prepare and maintain submittal/RFI logs for construction projects based on project drawings and specifications.
- Document and communicate scope changes and other related project impacts to project team.
- Coordinate the change proposal, review, and submission process.
- Assist the Project Manager in monitoring EVM and production rates.
- Distribute construction documents to subcontractors.
- Collect and prepare all required project close-out documents.
- Prepare correspondence with owner, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers, which include: schedule of values, project schedule, memos, request for information, transmittals, and submittals.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 3+ years of experience supporting similar responsibilities as listed above.
- Heavy civil construction experience required.
- Experience in heavy civil construction required. Water/Wastewater preferred.
