Now, DV group affiliates include two broker dealers, a cryptocurrency market making firm, and a bourgeoning investment adviser.

DV is looking for an experienced software developer to work with a small team responsible for development and daily operations of back-office systems that provide services to traders, risk management and accounting.
Job Responsibilities:

- Generate daily reports for the firm and traders from overnight data.

- Ensuring the flow of real-time trade data to provide accurate intraday position and trade data to risk management and traders.

- Production ownership of scheduled and batch data systems with hard deadlines (start-of-day and end-of-day processing), including retries, idempotency, alerting, and recovery
- Strong SQL and PostgreSQL experience: schema design, migrations, query tuning, data integrity controls
- Workflow orchestration experience (Airflow or equivalent) and CI/CD pipelines

- Fluency with Atlassian tooling (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket) as a daily working environment
- Practical experience applying AI: LLM APIs for automation or analysis, and thoughtful use of AI coding assistants with human review
- Clear written and verbal communication with non-engineers: operations, accounting, settlements, and middle office staff
- Ability to mentor junior and mid-level developers and make sound design decisions independently
Nice to Have:
- Trade lifecycle domain knowledge for futures and options: trade capture, allocations, give-ups, clearing, settlements, reconciliation, commissions and fees, margin, PnL
- Experience with trading and position platforms (TPOS or similar), broker and clearer file formats, SFTP, and FIX/drop-copy ingestion
