About the Role
As a Carrier Manager, you will spearhead the end-to-end lifecycle of Network RFPs and drive continuous savings through proactive market benchmarking and network analysis. You will be instrumental in the strategic selection of carriers to enhance capacity and service, serving as a key escalation point for operations and facilitating performance reviews through carrier scorecards and QBRs. Additionally, you will champion operational efficiency by supporting touchless execution initiatives, including MacroPoint and EDI integration.
What the Candidate Will Do
- Start to finish representation and support for Network RFP’s
- Lead carrier improvement plan processes as required.
- Continuous savings initiatives through market benchmark and network analysis.
- Strategic carrier selection for capacity solutions and service improvements.
- Interpret and publish carrier scorecards and service metrics.
- Carriers meeting and QBR’s.
- Support on carriers’ touchless execution service through MacroPoint, EDI, etc.
- Act as an escalation point between operations and carriers.
Basic Qualifications
- College degree in International Business, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineer or related.
- Microsoft Excel- Intermediate knowledge including but not limited to VLookup, Pivot Tables and advanced formulas.
- Effective analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
- Proficient Spanish and English written and verbal.

- Simultaneous management of multiple tasks.
- Ability to envision and implement new concepts/strategies.
- Ability to communicate and work with different internal teams and external customers at all levels.
- Ability to understand market trends.
- Truckload market knowledge domestic and cross-border.
