About the Role

We are one of the fastest growing defense technology companies, with top-tier VC backing. We are looking for dynamic Engagement Managers to lead client delivery projects, driving adoption of a SaaS platform and advisory services for national security clients. This role involves managing senior client relationships, executing high-impact projects, and fostering account growth through strategic problem-solving and data-driven solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead project execution, ensuring delivery exceeds client expectations while optimizing team resources.
  • Develop engagement plans, align resources, and drive adoption of SaaS solutions tailored to client workflows.
  • Manage senior-level client relationships, translating needs into actionable software use cases.
  • Collaborate with product and sales teams to scope new work and identify expansion opportunities.
  • Mentor analysts, provide quality assurance, and present insights to executives concisely.

Requirements

Must-Haves

  • 2-5 years in client engagement or consulting, with expertise in national security strategy, supply chain, federal procurement, or defense tech engagement.
  • Strong business acumen, exceptional communication, and ability to manage complex projects independently.
  • U.S. citizenship required; current or ability to obtain a security clearance.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Familiarity with SaaS, data analytics, or advisory services; experience in government or defense sectors preferred.
  • MBA or advanced degree from a top-tier institution is preferred.

Why work at Sitreps

  • Mission-Driven Work: Directly support national security and veteran employment — two high-impact, purpose-rich areas.
  • Hybrid & Remote Flexibility: Many roles offer remote options (U.S.-based); some positions require on-site presence in Arlington, VA, New York, or Litchfield, VA; a hybrid workspace is the norm.
  • Career Growth: Early-stage company where leaders are expected to build functions from scratch and grow into C-level roles (e.g., Head of Sales → CRO path).
  • Diverse Roles: Opportunities span professional services, engineering (forward deployed, data science), intelligence analysis, sales, and operations — appealing to both veterans and civilians.
  • Culture: Described as “authentic, expertise-driven, and grounded in real connection” — not a typical corporate recruiter but a community-first organization.
