Job description

At Our Place, we believe in the power of home-cooking to bring people together. We design thoughtful, beautiful products that make cooking and sharing meals easier and more joyful—and we are building a brand that earns a meaningful place in customers’ homes over time.

What you’d do at Our Place

Strategy & Roadmapping

- Define success metrics for all major product areas (PDP, cart, checkout, collection pages) and track performance against them

- Partner with brand, marketing, and retention teams to align product initiatives with broader campaign and growth strategy

Experimentation & Optimization

- Manage the Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) and A/B testing program end-to-end — hypothesis formation, test design, statistical validation, and post-launch analysis

- Develop a structured experimentation backlog using frameworks like RICE to score and sequence tests

- Synthesize quantitative signals (Amplitude, site analytics) with qualitative inputs (customer research, CX feedback) to identify high-impact opportunities

- Leverage AI tools to accelerate discovery, synthesize research, and pressure-test hypotheses

Discovery & Delivery

- Own discovery for new features and integrations — from problem definition and user research through requirements, scoping, and handoff

- Write clear product specs and briefs that engineering and design can execute without ambiguity

- Drive sprint ceremonies and maintain a healthy, prioritized backlog

Cross-Functional Collaboration

- Serve as the liaison between Engineering, Design, Marketing, CX, and Operations, surfacing blockers, driving alignment, and keeping work on track

- Communicate roadmap priorities and trade-offs clearly to leadership and stakeholders

Quality & Operational Excellence

- Manage New Product Introduction (NPI) and sale launches

- Establish and maintain QA standards for site deployments, promotions, and third-party integrations

- Maintain the digital product knowledge base, documentation, SOPs, and post-mortems

- Own bug reporting and new feature intake requests

Who you are

  • 4–6 years of product management experience at an ecommerce, DTC, or consumer tech company

- Familiarity with Shopify and the DTC tech stack (Klaviyo, loyalty platforms, third-party app integrations)

- Demonstrated ability to own and ship product end-to-end, from discovery to post-launch measurement

- Strong experimentation instincts: comfortable designing tests, reading results, and making calls under uncertainty

- Proficiency with product analytics tools (Amplitude, GA4, or equivalent), able to self-serve data and build hypotheses independently

- Experience managing complex cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities

- Clear, direct written and verbal communication, equally comfortable in a Figma file, a Slack thread, or a leadership readout

- Fluency with prompt engineering or building lightweight AI-powered workflows (Claude, ChatGPT, Perplexity, etc.)

Nice to Have

-

Experience with price testing or personalization platforms

- Exposure to UX research methods, usability testing, customer interviews, heuristic review

- Working knowledge of HTML/CSS or ability to read front-end code (not required to write it)

- Experience evaluating or deploying AI-native ecommerce features (semantic search, dynamic merchandising, LLM-powered chat/support)
