Why this role matters: As an Electronics Engineer, you’ll design and deliver critical electronic subsystems that enable ICEYE’s radar payloads to operate reliably in space and produce high-quality Earth observation data.

Your day-to-day responsibilities

  • Design board-level electronic systems for satellite radar units and RF boards, focusing on power and control circuits
  • Develop microcontroller-based solutions for power management and control
  • Test and validate electronic designs to ensure functionality, performance, and compliance with requirements
  • Document schematics, PCB layouts, and test procedures throughout development
  • Collaborate with RF, mechanical, and software teams to deliver integrated payload systems
  • Support troubleshooting and iteration during development and testing phases
  • Contribute to improving reliability and performance of electronic subsystems in demanding environments

What we’re looking for

Must haves:

  • 4+ years of experience in electronics engineering with a focus on practical product development
  • Strong experience in analog electronics design
  • Experience with PCB design tools such as Altium
  • Experience designing power control circuits, including for high-power RF amplifiers and low-noise supplies
  • Solid understanding of high-speed signal design fundamentals
  • Hands-on experience with testing and validation of electronic systems
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across engineering disciplines

Nice to haves:

  • Knowledge of EMI and EMC principles and best practices
  • Experience in aerospace, satellite, or defense-related hardware development
  • Fundamental understanding of RF systems and integration
