Job description

Position Overview We are looking for a London-based GSOC Analyst to be embedded at a Global Technology & Entertainment Company. The Analyst will be responsible for supporting our Client's GSOC through continuous monitoring, assessment, and response to incidents that may impact their people, operations, assets, travelers, and business continuity. This role manages the end-to-end lifecycle of critical events, including natural disasters, significant accidents, severe weather, geopolitical developments, and other emerging global threats. The GSOC Analyst is responsible for conducting real-time threat monitoring, triaging critical alerts, and coordinating timely incident communications through established platforms and protocols. This role ensures accurate situational awareness, timely stakeholder notification, and effective operational support during evolving incidents to help maintain organizational resilience and informed decision-making. This is a full-time hybrid position operating during normal business hours, Monday through Friday, requiring three days per week in the client’s London office and two days working remotely. Essential Job Functions Monitor real-time global events and emerging risks using approved monitoring platforms, with a primary emphasis on Everbridge. Apply established reporting protocols to assess incident reportability, determine severity levels, and execute appropriate escalation procedures. Create, update, and close incident records in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring clear communication to all relevant stakeholders. Conduct real-time threat monitoring and triage critical alerts to assess potential impacts to Client's personnel, operations, assets, and travelers. Provide timely status updates, follow-up communications, and incident notifications to requesting individuals and key stakeholders. Develop Intelligence Insight Reports through research and analysis of risk trends to support informed operational decision-making. Activate, coordinate, and support Incident Management Teams (IMTs) during crisis management events and response calls. Contribute to operational briefings, critical event reporting outputs, and data and metrics tracking efforts. Conduct social media monitoring and open-source analysis to identify emerging threats, changing trends, and potential operational impacts. Provide risk intelligence support for crisis management, enterprise risk management, and geopolitical risk assessments. Produce clear, actionable reports, briefings, and presentations that reduce uncertainty and support effective decision-making during critical events.

Required Skills and Experience

2+ years of relevant experience in corporate intelligence, global security operations, or related fields. Bachelor’s degree in International Relations, Security Studies, or related fields. Advanced proficiency with Everbridge and its associated workflow tools. Advanced proficiency in social media platforms, online research tools, productivity software, and communication technologies. Advanced writing skills to craft precise, effective, and context-appropriate Everbridge alerts centered on the target audience. Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. Proven capacity to work effectively both independently with minimal oversight and collaboratively within a team. Exceptional attention to detail and strong reading comprehension. Multilingual skills are highly desirable. Experience with data visualization platforms is an advantage.

Why work at Bogaard Group International

  • Value-driven culture: The company explicitly prioritizes "personality over resume," independence, autonomy, and over-communication — a deliberately flat, collaborative environment.
  • Learning-oriented mindset: BGI treats every project as a learning experience and emphasizes direct feedback and thoughtful communication for continuous improvement.
  • Meaningful work: Team members work on security challenges tied to real-world events (workplace violence, natural disasters, terrorism) with a mission to keep companies and employees safe.
  • Flexible work arrangements: Open roles include hybrid options (e.g., APAC Security Systems Project Manager in Hyderabad) alongside on-site positions in Los Angeles and San Jose, suggesting a mix of work models.
  • Global exposure: Opportunities to work across international security operations and diverse client cultures.
  • Inclusive recruiting: BGI states it recruits and retains talent from all backgrounds and perspectives; the company also uses AI-assisted recruiting tools to support application review (with human final decisions).
