If you thrive on precision, take fiduciary responsibility seriously, and want a hands-on role at the heart of the closing process, this is your PLACE.

This role is based on-site in Austin, Texas, with no remote or hybrid option; core hours will be confirmed with your manager.

Who Develops You: Post-Closing Manager

You are someone with exceptional attention to detail and a track record of accurately reviewing data and resolving discrepancies. You bring:

  • A High School Diploma or GED (required); Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Experience working with Qualia (required)
  • 1+ years of experience in a title, escrow, or closing environment
  • Experience managing fiduciary funds, or an equivalent accounting background, preferred
  • Working knowledge of BankUnited, a plus
  • Proficiency with Qualia or similar title/escrow production software
  • Familiarity with check processing, disbursement procedures, and banking portals
  • The ability to read and interpret settlement statements and disbursement instructions
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to meet critical deadlines
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills for coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders
  • The ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive financial information
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
  • The ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • A proactive, reliable, and collaborative approach to work
  • A current Texas Escrow License, or willingness to pursue licensure as part of accepting this role

What You'll Do:

Disbursements

  • Process and coordinate outgoing escrow disbursements nationwide, with an emphasis on Texas transactions
  • Review settlement statements, closing documents, and disbursement instructions for accuracy
  • Prepare and process checks, wires, payoffs, and other transaction disbursements
  • Verify payees, amounts, supporting documentation, and required approvals before funds are released
  • Track pending disbursements and meet critical funding deadlines
  • Maintain accurate records of checks, wires, and disbursement activity
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies before funds are released
  • Follow company procedures for wire fraud prevention, identity verification, and handling escrow funds
  • Monitor the daily schedule of pending disbursements and proactively flag any delays or discrepancies
  • Coordinate with Escrow Officers, Operations, and Finance staff to resolve issues related to checks or disbursements
  • Perform quality control checks to confirm disbursement accuracy and compliance
  • Support additional disbursement-related duties as assigned

Post-Closing and Recording

  • Prepare and mail lender documents and other required post-closing documents
  • Coordinate mail-away recordings and ensure documents are properly prepared, sent, tracked, and returned
  • Monitor recording status and follow up on outstanding recording matters
  • Assist with post-closing document review and file completion
  • Maintain accurate records of documents sent for recording and returned recorded documents
  • Coordinate with Escrow Officers, Operations, Title, and Post-Closing teams to resolve outstanding matters

  • Other duties as assigned

Salary: $60,000 - $65,000/year depending on experience
