About Role! 🙌

We're looking for someone who loves talking to customers, thrives on cold outreach, and believes the phone is still one of the fastest ways to create pipeline.

This isn't just another SDR role.

You'll be responsible for helping Reo.Dev reo.dev build cold calling into one of our strongest GTM channels. You'll work directly with GTM leadership to design messaging, improve call strategies, and create a repeatable outbound engine that consistently generates qualified pipeline.

Reo.Dev reo.dev is at a breakout moment. We launched in October 2023, and within just three years we've become one of the most talked-about platforms in the developer tools world. The best DevTool companies globally use Reo, and we've reached strong product-market fit.

Now we're entering our next chapter—scaling our GTM engine and building the category-defining revenue team for developer tool companies.

This is where you come in.

🚀 WHAT WILL YOU BE WORKING ON?

  • Own cold calling as a primary outbound channel for Reo.Dev reo.dev.
  • Make high-quality outbound calls to founders, sales leaders, marketing leaders, and GTM teams at developer-first companies.
  • Generate qualified meetings for the Account Executive team through strategic outbound prospecting.
  • Research accounts before every call and personalize conversations using Reo's own intent and developer signals.
  • Handle objections confidently and uncover pain points instead of relying on scripts.
  • Work closely with GTM leadership to continuously improve talk tracks, messaging, objection handling, and call frameworks.
  • Experiment with different call approaches, ICPs, industries, and personas to improve connect rates and conversion.
  • Partner with SDRs, Marketing, and GTM Engineering to build coordinated multichannel outbound campaigns.
  • Maintain accurate CRM hygiene and consistently track outreach activities and learnings.
  • Help build playbooks, best practices, and processes that scale cold calling into a repeatable revenue channel.
  • Become the foundation of Reo.Dev reo.dev's phone-based outbound engine as the company scales.

👯 WHO WILL EXCEL AT THIS ROLE?

You'll enjoy this role if these sound like you:

  • You genuinely enjoy speaking to new people every day.
  • You believe every objection is simply another conversation to navigate.
  • You're resilient and don't let rejection affect your energy.
  • You're naturally curious and ask thoughtful questions instead of jumping into pitches.
  • You know that successful cold calls come from preparation, listening, and relevance not reading scripts.
  • You communicate confidently and can quickly build rapport with senior decision-makers.
  • You understand that great outbound is about solving problems, not selling products.
  • You can identify patterns from conversations and use those insights to improve messaging.
  • You use AI to prepare smarter for calls, research accounts, and improve outreach but never sound robotic.
  • You enjoy experimenting with messaging, call openings, objection handling, and follow-up strategies.
  • You're highly organized, consistent, and disciplined enough to make outbound calling a daily habit.
  • Aggressive targets motivate rather than intimidate you.

Prior experience in cold calling, SDR, inside sales, business development, or outbound prospecting is a strong plus. Experience selling to B2B SaaS or developer-focused companies is even better.

More importantly, show us that you understand what makes outbound work.

👯 WHAT QUALITIES DO WE LOOK FOR IN OUR TEAM MEMBERS?

While there is no stencil for the type of people we like, there are a few traits that might make Reo.Dev reo.dev a better fit for you. Reo.Dev reo.dev might be a good fit if you:

  • Work hard, hands-on and want to grow really fast.
  • Care about your work a great deal and find it highly unsettling if the quality of work is even slightly sub-par.
  • Execute fast.
  • Are hands-on (we will not have elaborate reporting structures for the foreseeable future—and hopefully ever).
  • Are someone people like to work with, low on ego, high on humility.
  • Have the ability to fail, learn, and keep trying until you win. Startups are tough, and we will not get everything right the first time.
  • Have a long-term view of your career growth and are not optimizing only for the next 1–2 years.
