Job description

XLA is seeking a Financial Management Specialist with federal financial management experience who holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field and 2+ years of professional work experience.

This is an onsite position based out of Washington D.C.

Salary: $92,000 - $102,000

The Financial Management Specialist shall possess the following experience:

  • Experience with processing financial documents and transactions from designated Districts using the UFMS and EOUSA systems.
  • Experience providing general financial management and budgetary support.
  • Experience performing Accounting Data Analysis, Records Examiner/Analyst and Financial Analyst tasks.
  • Experience performing liaison functions between districts and Remote Payment Office (RPO) with respect to budget execution.
  • Experience monitoring and analyzing the financial condition of assigned programs to determine whether current or proposed actions are financially sound.
  • Experience retrieving and reviewing financial reports
  • Demonstrates a working knowledge of Federal Travel Regulation (FTR) when reviewing and processing fact witness vouchers and processing travel documents in the E2 Solutions.
  • Experience with Government Accounting Systems.
  • Competency in performing analysis and developing reports in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with Microsoft office products
