Description of Task to be Performed: AnaVation is seeking an experienced Test Engineer to join our growing team and support an exciting, mission-critical work program. The selected candidate will develop and execute test plans and test cases; perform both manual and automated testing; identify, document, and track bugs and issues; and develop and maintain testing scripts and tools. The Test Engineer will work as part of a high performing technical team alongside operational end-users to ensure the testing being performed meets operational requirements and to identify potential issues before they impact end-users.
This position is on site with our customer in Quantico, VA and cannot be supported remotely.
This position requires an active Top Secret clearance and the ability to obtain SCI accesses with a CI polygraph.
Required Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer and Information Security, Computer Security, Computer Forensics, Information Systems, Systems Engineering, or related field. Relevant training, certifications, and work experience may be accepted in lieu of degree at the customer’s discretion.
- Experience:
- 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Experience programming in Python, scripting, and/or using Python for automated test pipelines.
- Experience with forensic analysis.
- Experience with software testing.
- Demonstrated experience developing and executing test plans.
- Experience developing and maintaining testing scripts and tools.
- Proficiency in using advanced cybersecurity industry standard techniques to conduct forensic analysis.
Active Top-Secret clearance and the ability to obtain SCI access with a CI polygraph.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with common forensics tools such as Cellebrite, Wireshark, etc.
- In-depth knowledge of mobile and desktop operating systems a strong plus.
- Knowledge of DevOps best practices.
