Job description

About Sable

Sable built Aidan, the first AI employee who can lead customer calls using realtime voice, vision, and browser use. Aidan runs sales calls just like a human seller, in a two-way conversation where he can click through the product like a human and adapt the journey on the fly. Aidan learns and improves with every call, meaning he becomes a better seller the more he is used.

The role

Sales at Sable is currently driven by the founding team: the playbook is documented, field-tested, and closing deals fast. You'll be the first fully-dedicated seller, taking full ownership of deals in the ~$100-250k ACV range and building upon the founding team's playbook as the sales function grows. You'll get a category-defining product, strong reference customers, the ability to leverage whatever sales tools you want, and a direct hand in building out the sales machine.

What you'll do

  • Run full-cycle sales for mid-market accounts: discovery, live demo (with Aidan as your selling partner), POC scoping, negotiation, close
  • Execute and sharpen the documented playbook: highest-ROI use cases, objection handling, and competitive positioning against previous generation products
  • Partner with engineers to scope POCs that go live in days, deliver clear customer ROI, and win signed contracts
  • Help define the sales machine (check-in cadence, CRM hygiene, forecasts and team targets) as additional members of the sales team join after you

Who you are

  • ~2–3 years closing B2B SaaS or AI contracts at $200k+ ACV with a track record of self-sourced pipeline
  • You've sold a technical product to sales and marketing leaders; you can hold these executive-level conversations with credibility
  • Extremely high ownership and drive

Why work at Sable

  • Culture: Sable is an AI company redefining the future of work, specifically focusing on products that transform Go-To-Market strategies. The team is composed of forward-deployed engineers who collaborate closely with customers.
  • Work model: Hybrid workspace—employees engage in a combination of remote and on-site work. The San Francisco office is in-person.
  • Engineering culture: Emphasis on building cutting-edge multimodal AI agents with real-time screen understanding, autonomous navigation, and deep business context learning. Engineers work directly with enterprise customers to deploy solutions.
  • Perks: Not explicitly detailed, but the company’s focus on security, privacy, and trust (SOC 2, GDPR, ISO certifications) suggests a mature, compliance-minded engineering environment.
