Job description

Noise exists because culture should be shaped by the people who care about it. We're building a platform where curators and communities surface and value the trends becoming relevant around the world.

We're a team of 10 based in SoHo, New York. We look for people with great taste who can ship code, design or convey user needs into delightful products.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own design end-to-end and set the bar for taste, craft, and product quality across Noise.
  • 2/3 design, 1/3 engineering, you lead with product intuition and ship with code
  • Own and ship design end-to-end: concept, prototype, production
  • Define and evolve the visual language across web, product, and brand surfaces
  • Build motion and interaction systems that feel intentional and alive
  • Know when to use the design system, when to break it, and when to evolve it
  • Maintain and extend design systems

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Comfortable delivering the right artifact at the right time: from Figma mockups to production code with Claude Code, Codex, or your harness of choice
  • Delivers feedback with candor and takes it without ego
  • Strong design fundamentals and attention to detail: typography, layout, color, composition
  • Actionable taste for interaction details: motion, timing, affordance

Minimum full-time salary of $160,000-$210,000. Disclosure in accordance with New York City's Pay Transparency Law. Full Time employees at Noise Labs are also eligible for other compensation elements, including equity and benefits, dependent on the position type.
