Job description

As our Founding Product Engineer, you'll architect and build engaging user experiences, shaping the technical architecture and culture of a company defining the next era of the internet.

Role scope

  • Frontend engineering: Architect and build the core product interface using React, Next.js, and Tailwind CSS
  • Design systems: Create and implement the configuration systems that control page design elements and components- Be a key stakeholder in discussions on implementing design systems and component libraries in Flint website templates.
  • AI development: Build "taste" into the AI by developing algorithms that understand design principles and brand consistency
  • Prototype rapidly with users and translate learnings into durable features.
  • Own projects end-to-end: from prototypes that test new ideas with users to production systems that serve as the foundation for our platform.

Basic qualifications

  • You have frontend engineering experience (Typescript, Next.js, Tailwind CSS)
  • You regularly use AI IDEs like Cursor or Windsurf to code
  • You are passionate about helping companies make beautiful and performant web presences
  • You are genuinely interested to push the boundaries of what AI is capable of
  • You take ownership from problem to solution, learning whatever you need to succeed.
  • You love building MVPs, testing them with users, and iterating quickly.

Preferred qualifications

  • You’ve built a website before!- You have a lived understanding of what it’s like to use a website builder (e.g. Webflow or Framer) and/or content management system (e.g. Sanity, Contentful, Strapi)
