Role details
Job description
Nango (YC W23) lets developers build product integrations with AI. It gives agents and applications access to the APIs their users rely on. More than 700 paying customers use Nango today, including ServiceNow, Replit, Ramp. We are a YC-backed team of 14 from AWS, GitHub, Okta, Snyk, Netlify, Uber, Samsara, Workato, and other leading developer-tool companies. We are hiring a Founding Growth & Marketing Lead to make Nango known among developers and technical leaders, from startups with product-market fit to enterprises. You’ll work directly with the founders, turning creative experiments into awareness and qualified demand. You’ll start hands-on, with room to build a team as we grow.
What You’ll Do
- Make Nango the go-to integrations brand for technical teams.
- Grow channels across content, social, partnerships, and paid campaigns.
- Host founder dinners, conference side events, and Nango events.
- Sharpen our messaging and secure speaking opportunities.
- Test unconventional ideas and scale the channels that work.
- Track relevant awareness, qualified leads, and contribution to pipeline.
- Build repeatable playbooks and, over time, a team.
Who You Are
- You’ve run growth or marketing for developer tools or infrastructure.
- You’ve personally grown multiple channels, with results to show.
- You understand how developers discover, evaluate, and adopt tools.
- You bring a network of founders, technical leaders, and developer creators.
- You’ve reached technical buyers at growing startups and enterprises.
- You bring proven playbooks and the judgment to adapt them.
- You write clearly and enjoy executing the work yourself.
Location This is an in-person role in San Francisco.
Why work at Nango
- Fully remote – team distributed across the US, Europe, and LATAM; outcomes over hours.
- Open-source culture – transparency, community, and developer friendliness are core values.
- Expert-led – colleagues come from developer infrastructure companies (e.g., Datadog, GitHub, Snyk); engineers work on hard problems (distribution, scale, API fragmentation).
- Impact & ownership – small team (7–9 people) means direct contribution to product decisions and architecture; engineers do support and shape the roadmap.
- Technical challenges – from building a custom Postgres-based scheduler to handling OAuth flows, rate limits, and schema quirks across hundreds of APIs.
- High growth trajectory – 7-figure ARR, fast-growing user base, and a fresh $7.5M round signal momentum without sacrificing quality of life.
