The Infrastructure team designs, delivers and operates the technology foundations supporting QRT’s trading and enterprise environments. You will lead the trading and enterprise network function through a team of Network Team Leads. The role is accountable for strategy, people, priorities, delivery, operations and continuous improvement within the network function. This role ensures the network supports business requirements and that teams work in a consistent, scalable and supportable way.
Your Future Role within QRT
- Lead and develop Network Team Leads, setting clear strategy and priorities, ownership and escalation paths.
- Establish consistent ways of working across the network function, supporting clear leadership and predictable delivery.
- Balance project delivery, operational work, technical debt and improvement initiatives, ensuring work remains aligned with business priorities.
- Act as the senior escalation point for people, delivery and operational issues.
- Ensure agreed architecture, standards, documentation and handover practices are followed across teams.
- Provide senior Infrastructure and Project Management stakeholders with clear feedback on risks, dependencies, capacity, delivery confidence and technical debt.
- Ensure risks are identified and raised early, with clear ownership and appropriate mitigation plans.
- Represent Networks in business, infrastructure and project planning.
Your Present Skillset
- Experience leading a network function through team leads or managers.
- Strong knowledge of complex, low-latency network environments.
- Strong delivery, resource, risk and stakeholder-management skills.
- Experience building consistent operating practices across multiple teams and sites.
- Ability to develop technical leaders and reduce reliance on individual knowledge.
