The Business Analyst plays a critical role in driving our operations across the APAC and EMEA regions. In this team, you will serve as a key interface between global teams and regional stakeholders, ensuring that our trading platforms, risk management systems, and business processes are aligned with both local and global strategic objectives. This role demands a deep understanding of financial markets, exceptional analytical capabilities, and the ability to drive business improvements in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Your future role within QRT

  • Act as a key point of contact for the APAC and EMEA region and ensure effective collaboration with the global team
  • Understand and analyse business requirements. This includes working with internal stakeholder including but not limited to Traders, COO, Compliance to determine their requirements for trading platforms, controls and risk management systems
  • Liase and evaluate offerings from external stakeholders like prime brokers, vendors
  • Propose solutions, conduct impact and gap analysis
  • Elaborate  the requirement to concerned team for implementation and validate the high level behaviour
  • Project coordination with different teams. Act as a liaison between the IT department and business units
  • Continuously seek ways to improve business processes and systems efficiency

Your present skillset

  • 5+ years' relevant experience in a business analysis or technical role within a buy side or investment firm
  • Strong leadership and project management skills, with the capability to lead and manage complex projects from inception to completion
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to analyse complex data
  • Experience working with or supporting front-office trading applications, along with a good understanding of databases, SQL and Unix commands, would be an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently, and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Knowledge of financial markets (specifically APAC region) and varied asset classes is crucial
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
