How you'll make a difference:

- Prepare high quality Revit models and engineering drawings for mass timber, steel, masonry and concrete buildings

- Work with architects, interior designers, mechanical and electrical engineers to create truly integrated and sustainable design solutions

- Opportunity to grow your knowledge by attending site reviews and inspections, as well as review the contractor’s work to ensure compliance with the project drawings and specifications

- Prepare documents required for approvals, and construction cost estimates, tenders, and contracts

- Provide design support to engineers, architects, and other technologists

- Work with other team members to ensure schedules, budgets, and quality control standards are achieved and maintained

Who you are:

- A Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or Architectural Technology

- 5+ years of structural modelling experience working on mixed-use commercial/residential, school and post-secondary, healthcare, or institutional buildings is preferred

- Knowledge of building codes is an asset

- Proficient with Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office

- Strong verbal and written communication skills

- Collaborative, team oriented, with the ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines
