Job description
The Inventory Control Coordinator assists and works in warehouse area to coordinate receiving, stocking, order picking and delivery of product on a daily basis or as required. In addition, maintains accurate inventory and reports concerned with ordering, receiving, and storing.
Responsibilities
- Performs cycle count and root-cause analysis and prepares necessary documentation for audit reporting.
- Compiles stock control records and information such as consumption rate, characteristics of items in storage, including weight, freight class, cube and stock location, to make recommendations on stock supply and replenishment.
- Assists Warehouse Manager with Material Safety Data Sheet (MSD) documentation.
- Analyzes both vendor and customer returns to ensure that corrective action is documented and feedback is provided to sales department.
- Reviews files to determine unused or obsolete items and recommends disposal of excess stock.
- Assists Warehouse Manager with quality assurance program.
- Assists with work assignments and scheduling for the assembly operation.
- Keeps warehouse area clean including sweeping the floors and picking up loose material.
The targeted start date for this position is Monday, 11/9/2026. This position is bonus eligible.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum three years of related inventory experience
- Fork Truck certification required
- Microsoft Office with emphasis on Outlook, Word and Excel and working knowledge of ERP and WMS systems
