LifeSci Advisors, a leading healthcare‑focused investor relations firm, is seeking an Associate to join its EU Investor Engagement team. This is a high-touch client and investor-facing role that sits at the intersection of life sciences, capital markets, and relationship management. The Associate will support the execution of EU non‑deal roadshows, investor meetings, and LifeSci‑hosted events (including KOL events and R&D Days) while actively building relationships with the investor networks that matter most to our clients.
Key Responsibilties
Investor & Client Relationship Development
- Prospect and build relationships with institutional buy‑side investors (e.g., healthcare‑focused hedge funds, long‑only funds, crossover investors) to expand LifeSci Advisors’ investor network.
- Support the ongoing enrichment of relationships with existing investor and corporate client contacts, ensuring accurate tracking of preferences, focus areas, and feedback.
- Maintain and update internal investor intelligence, including coverage focus, investment style, and meeting history.
Non‑Deal Roadshow & Event Support
- Support planning and execution of non‑deal roadshows (NDRs) across major financial centers, working closely with senior NDR team members and corporate clients.
- Chaperone executive management teams during in‑person NDRs, providing real‑time logistical support and ensuring a seamless meeting experience.
- Assist with outreach and coordination for LifeSci‑hosted events, including:
- Key Opinion Leader (KOL) events
- R&D Days
- Investor field trips and thematic events
- Help manage meeting schedules, investor targeting lists, and pre‑meeting preparation materials.
Meeting Feedback & Intelligence Gathering
- Retrieve, synthesize, and document post‑meeting feedback from investors following NDR meetings and events arranged by the broader NDR team.
- Clearly communicate feedback to internal stakeholders and client teams, ensuring insights are captured accurately and in a timely manner.
- Identify recurring themes, investor sentiment trends, and actionable takeaways for clients.
Outreach & Networking
- Conduct targeted outreach to investors for upcoming roadshows and events, under the guidance of senior team members.
- Proactively seek opportunities to network and establish relationships within the investor community
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, finance, economics, business, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of relevant experience in investor relations, equity research, corporate access, consulting, finance, or life sciences‑focused roles (internships included).
- Strong interest in capital markets, institutional investing, and the life sciences sector.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with comfort interacting with senior executives and investors.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours in support of in‑person roadshows and global investor schedules.
