About fonio

But voice is just the beginning. Our vision: to build the world’s first fully automated CRM. 11,000+ customers. >€15M ARR. ~30% monthly growth. We live ownership. You’re responsible for your projects and tasks end-to-end. No politics, few meetings, direct feedback. At fonio you’ll build alongside the smartest and most ambitious people around. Join us now to be part of one of Europe’s most exciting growth stories!
Your Role
As Junior Customer Success Manager for Activation in DACH, you make sure every new German-speaking customer goes from “just signed” to “fonio picks up our calls every day”. You own the first weeks of the customer journey: setting up their AI assistant, testing and fine-tuning it, and getting it live on their phone line. You’ll spend most of your time in onboarding calls with customers and inside the fonio platform. You learn how every feature works and figure out the best setup for each customer, whether that’s a dental practice in Munich, a law firm in Vienna or a car workshop in Zurich.
What to expect
- Run onboarding calls with new DACH customers and set up their AI assistant together with them
- Translate each customer’s business into a working setup: prompt, knowledge base, call transfers, notifications and integrations
- Test and fine-tune assistants until they’re ready to go live, so customers don’t get stuck in “almost done”
- Help customers connect their phone system and get call forwarding running
- Follow up with customers who signed but aren’t active yet, and get them over the line
- Become a power user of the platform: learn how each feature works and which setup fits which use case
- Bring patterns and friction points from onboardings back to Product and CS to improve templates, guides and the product
- Hand activated customers over to Customer Success with a clean setup and clear notes
- Track your onboardings and activation results in HubSpot
Who We're Looking For
- 0–2 years of experience in a customer-facing role (onboarding, support, CS, sales, hospitality or customer service) or a strong graduate profile. Internships count.
- Native or C2 German, fluent English
- Basic technical skills and real curiosity about how things work. You enjoy clicking through a platform until you understand it, and you’re not scared of webhooks, APIs or phone settings.
- You like solving puzzles: “How do I build this for this customer?” excites you
- You explain things simply and stay patient with non-technical customers, by phone or video
- Structured: you can run several onboardings in parallel without dropping anything
- Hands-on and quick to learn. You take initiative and don’t wait to be told what to do.
- Willing to relocate to Vienna
What We Offer
- €50,000–55,000
- You’ll learn AI and voice tech faster than anywhere else, with a real path into Customer Success, Solutions or Forward Deployment
- Lunch and dinner are on us. Every day.
- The fridge is always full: Red Bull, Mate, Cola, Almdudler and more
- Need a tool, course or book? It’s yours. No approval loops.
- Your setup, your choice: pick the gear you want to work with
- A product customers actually love: 4.5 stars on Trustpilot, Google and OMR. It mostly sells itself.
- Onsite in Vienna with a team that’s here to do the best work of their careers
Hiring Process
- 20 min intro call
- 30 min skill interview
- 15 min with interview with our CCO
- 20 min culture call with our Founders
