About the Position

We are looking for a Korea-focused Trading Controls Specialist to join our Hong Kong team. This person will focus on interpretation, design, and implementation of pre- and post-trade controls, whilst working with various internal teams to advise on, analyze and support the continued development of our business in Asia.

Additional responsibilities of this role will include:

  • Gathering continuous feedback from brokers and exchanges on Korea UTP and short sell rules and other trading sensitivities to help advise and guide the business to make informed decisions
  • Building relationships with onshore counterparties to gather colour on regulatory and market sentiment about the feedback from counterparties
  • Working closely with our Korea Business Development, Trading, Compliance and Technology teams to translate the rule interpretations into our controls framework
  • Monitoring and evaluating new flows/increases in trading and their interaction with controls

About You

  • Have 8+ years of relevant experience in trading controls design and implementation
  • Knowledgeable and experienced with Korea exchange rules (any broader APAC experience would be a plus)
  • Familiar with electronic trading regulations as well as system design
  • Experience working with devs (some coding skills would be a plus, but not required)
  • Fluent in English and Korean
