About the Role

The CSS III will be the on-site (Garcia NL) point of contact between the customer, plant operations, CSS, carriers, and internal teams. The role focuses on ensuring smooth transportation execution, providing proactive customer service, anticipating risks, and resolving operational issues in real time. What the Candidate Will Do

  • Monitor daily transportation and shipment execution at the plant.
  • Coordinate with customers, carriers, CSS, and internal teams.
  • Proactively identify and resolve operational issues and conflicts.
  • Manage appointments, truck arrivals, documentation, and plant requirements.
  • Provide clear and timely visibility on shipment status, risks, and corrective actions.
  • Take ownership of incidents through resolution and support continuous improvement.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure high service levels.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience in Customer Service, Logistics, Transportation, Supply Chain, or Operations.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Proactive, solution-oriented, and comfortable making decisions under pressure.
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work effectively in a plant environment.
  • SAP knowledge.
  • Strong interpersonal and conflict-management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a customer-facing logistics or transportation role.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or automotive plant.
  • Experience coordinating carriers or transportation providers.
  • Familiarity with TMS, load boards, or transportation tracking platforms.
  • Experience with import/export logistics processes.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and an extroverted, approachable personality.
