C3 AI is seeking a Manager / Senior Manager, Strategic Alliances to own and grow C3 AI's relationships with leading foundation-model providers, beginning with OpenAI and Anthropic. As the single point of accountability for these partnerships, you will build the joint go-to-market motion, drive partner-sourced and partner-influenced pipeline, and serve as the connective tissue between our partners' product and field teams and C3 AI's sales, product, and engineering organizations. This is a builder's role for someone who is equal parts strategist and seller, and who is fluent enough in modern AI to be credible with technical and executive audiences alike.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end relationship with OpenAI and Anthropic, including the joint business plan, shared goals, and quarterly operating cadence.
  • Develop and execute a joint go-to-market strategy that drives partner-sourced and partner-influenced pipeline and closed revenue.
  • Build co-sell motions with C3 AI field sales and the partners' sales and solutions teams; identify, register, and progress joint opportunities.
  • Define and launch joint solutions and reference architectures that combine partner models with the C3 Agentic AI Platform.
  • Drive co-marketing activity, including joint content, events, and demand-generation campaigns.
  • Serve as the internal advocate for each partner, coordinating across sales, product, engineering, marketing, legal, and operations to remove friction and accelerate deals.
  • Establish and manage partnership KPIs, including sourced pipeline, win rate, influenced revenue, and joint solution adoption; report progress to senior leadership.
  • Maintain a deep, current understanding of each partner's model roadmap, licensing, and competitive positioning.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related technical field; MBA strongly preferred (recent graduates welcome to apply).
  • 3–5 years in management consulting, enterprise sales, business development, or partnerships, ideally including time at an AI, developer-platform, or technical-infrastructure company (or serving clients of this profile).
  • Hands-on fluency with the modern AI stack — LLM APIs, fine-tuning, RAG, evaluation, and agentic patterns (e.g., tool/function calling, orchestration frameworks, MCP) — sufficient to engage credibly with product managers, developer-relations, and research-adjacent stakeholders at a frontier lab.
  • Working knowledge of the foundation-model landscape: how leading models differ in capability and cost, how enterprises evaluate build-vs-buy, and the key trends, risks, and responsible-AI / safety considerations shaping the space.
  • Demonstrated ability to carry and influence a revenue or pipeline number, and to translate a partner's product roadmap into joint go-to-market motions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, with the executive presence to operate with senior partner stakeholders and the technical credibility to earn trust with their product and engineering teams.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and the ability to thrive amid rapid product change and ambiguity — comfortable keeping pace with partners who ship constantly.
  • Willingness to travel to partner and customer sites as needed.

Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future company sponsorship. C3 AI provides excellent benefits, a competitive compensation package and generous equity plan.

California Base Pay Range $140,000—$220,000 USD
