Job description
Position Summary: An industrial painter is responsible for surface preparation, paint application, and maintaining a clean work environment. They power-wash surfaces, perform substrate preparation, mix paints, and apply coatings to fabricated metal products. General Responsibilities
- Prepares surface for paint application, including but not limited to power-washed and cleaned surfaces for painting.
- Selected appropriate paint types for each surface.
- Monitors paint inventory and tools.
- Collaborates with other painters to ensure timely completion of jobs.
- Performed basic maintenance tasks when not painting.
- Works to grasp general understanding of automated material handling and paint system.
- Able to ensure reliability of washer through verification procedures.
Requirements
- Experience preferred in industrial-level painting.
- Perform thorough work to avoid mistakes.
- Capable of applying paint to various materials.
- Able to work well with others or independently.
- Physical Condition: In good health for job requirements (lifting, climbing ladders, bending).
