JOB INTRODUCTION

The Product Designer II plays a key role in crafting intuitive, scalable user experiences across Tekion’s digital products. This role works independently on product features, from concept through execution, and collaborates closely with Product, Engineering, and other cross-functional partners to ensure cohesive, high-quality designs. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong product thinking, user empathy, and technical fluency in design systems and tools.

KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own end-to-end design for product features, including research, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity visuals
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to understand user needs, business objectives, and technical constraints
  • Conduct or assist with usability testing, user interviews, and data analysis to inform design decisions
  • Contribute to the evolution and maintenance of the product design system and documentation
  • Work closely with developers to ensure accurate implementation and smooth handoff of design assets Participate in design critiques and provide constructive feedback to peers

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3–5 years of experience in product design, UX/UI, or a related role
  • Advanced proficiency in Figma and other prototyping/design tools
  • Demonstrated success designing intuitive and scalable digital products
  • Strong understanding of UX best practices, accessibility guidelines, and responsive design
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
  • Portfolio showcasing end-to-end design work and problem-solving ability
  • Bachelor’s degree in design, human-computer interaction, or a related field
