About Omni

Omni is the AI analytics platform that turns company data into a trusted source of truth for AI. Built on a semantic model, Omni gives enterprises a governed context graph for analytics and AI. Teams use Omni to ask questions in plain English, refine answers in workbooks, and bring trusted data into tools like Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and Slack.

Based in San Francisco, CA, Omni has raised $217M from the world’s top investors, including ICONIQ, Theory Ventures, First Round Capital, Redpoint Ventures, and GV. Its latest $120M Series C valued the company at $1.5B.

About the Role

Software Engineers at Omni work with our product and customers to understand problems and use cases to solve, and then operate across our tech stack to solve them. You'll work on a team with deep experience in the space, and you'll have the autonomy to prioritize and solve problems by yourself, or in collaboration with other members of the team.

One of the company values at Omni is "Ship it!" - we move quickly, ship often, and then iterate until it's great. We use Claude Code to drive productivity, allowing us to focus on the most complex technical and product work, while delegating the rest to our agents.

Our product engineers are passionate about at least one aspect of our product, for example:

  • Improving Blobby, our AI agent, to handle more complex analyses and new workflows
  • Building advanced data modeling capabilities like aggregate awareness for approximate count distinct measures
  • Allow users bring their own data through CSV uploads, spreadsheets, and input tables
  • Building APIs, CLIs, and MCP tools to allow users to work with Omni from anywhere

About You

  • 3-10+ years of experience building production software
  • Opinionated about how to build great products and features
  • Strategic thinking and the ability to balance business and product goals with velocity and engineering excellence
  • Experience doing analytical work with tools like SQL, Looker, Tableau, Mode, Amplitude, Google Analytics

Nice to Haves

  • Experience building data products
  • Familiarity with data warehouses like Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift

Our Stack

  • TypeScript
  • React with Remix
  • Kotlin / Java
  • AWS

Why Join Us

  • Passionate, supportive team with extensive experience in the space (including founders from Looker and Stitch Data) all working together to win as a team
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance

Omni is an equal opportunity employer. We value diversity and encourage you to apply even if you don’t check every single box. Please, let us know if you need any reasonable accommodations during the interview process.
