Working Pattern: Full time Location: Singapore This role is based in Singapore and we're not able to offer relocation support for candidates outside this location. Applicants must already be based in or eligible to work in Singapore.

The Role
We are seeking an experienced and product-oriented Product Engineer to join our Tax Pod, the team building the next generation of software powering tax professionals. This is a hands-on, high-impact engineering role focused on building user-centric, scalable tools that directly transform how complex professional services are delivered. You should be able to work independently and take ownership of your work, while communicating clearly and proactively within a remote team that operates across multiple time zones. You will work closely with end users, product managers, designers and other engineers to design, implement, and deploy features that make meaningful improvements to workflow efficiency, accuracy, and user experience.
Key Responsibilities
Product Development & Engineering
- Design, build, and ship software features end-to-end, from conception to deployment and iteration.
- Translate real-world tax and accounting workflows into elegant, scalable software systems.
- Collaborate with product and design to define requirements, prioritize work, and ensure seamless user experiences.
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code with an eye for scalability and performance.
User-Centered Problem Solving
- Work directly with tax professionals to understand their needs and pain points. Translate user feedback into actionable product improvements and technical solutions.
- Prototype and iterate rapidly to validate ideas and deliver value fast.
Collaboration & Process
- Partner cross-functionally with Product, Design, and other Engineering and AI teams to integrate data-driven automation into product workflows.
- Contribute to best practices, documentation, and process improvements that help the engineering team scale efficiently.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architecture planning.
Continuous Improvement
- Stay current on modern engineering practices, emerging technologies, and domain trends within fintech, accounting, and AI automation.
- Contribute ideas that elevate our products, codebase, and development culture.
Who You Are
- Experienced Engineer (5+ years preferred) with a track record of ownership across the full product lifecycle.
- Passionate about building user-facing products and working closely with real users to shape impactful solutions.
- Strong foundation in modern full-stack development (Typescript, Node.js, React, Postgre)
- Experienced in B2B or Fintech environments, particularly in information- or compliance-heavy domains.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity, working independently, and iterating quickly in a startup environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
- This is a global role requiring coverage of Europe, UK, and Israel time zones, with regular overlap into Asia or US working hours to enable cross-regional collaboration.
