Job description

Responsibilities

  • Meet with clients to determine survey needs
  • Oversee boundary and topographic surveys in the field and office
  • Establish project expectations, calculate survey data
  • Oversee and participate in the preparation of computer-generated maps and reports based on survey data
  • Maintain accurate records, files and documentation including field notes
  • Prepare budgets for projects, proposals, and technical reports
  • Review and certify work when complete
  • Open to daily travel and overnight travel to client sites

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must have a PLS license for IL
  • Prefer experience with boundary, topographic, and ALTA surveys, construction staking, and data collection
  • Prefer experience with robotic total stations and GNSS receivers
  • Prefer experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • Strong work ethic and accountability
  • Clean driving record required (no more than 3 accidents and/or moving violations in the last 36 months or 2 accidents and/or moving violations within the last 12 months)
  • Proven ability to work in a team environment
  • Flexibility to work in an office environment and field environment
  • Must possess exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Must be able to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future
