Job description
Responsibilities
- Meet with clients to determine survey needs
- Oversee boundary and topographic surveys in the field and office
- Establish project expectations, calculate survey data
- Oversee and participate in the preparation of computer-generated maps and reports based on survey data
- Maintain accurate records, files and documentation including field notes
- Prepare budgets for projects, proposals, and technical reports
- Review and certify work when complete
- Open to daily travel and overnight travel to client sites
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must have a PLS license for IL
- Prefer experience with boundary, topographic, and ALTA surveys, construction staking, and data collection
- Prefer experience with robotic total stations and GNSS receivers
- Prefer experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Strong work ethic and accountability
- Clean driving record required (no more than 3 accidents and/or moving violations in the last 36 months or 2 accidents and/or moving violations within the last 12 months)
- Proven ability to work in a team environment
- Flexibility to work in an office environment and field environment
- Must possess exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills
- Must be able to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future
