Job description

Samba is a media intelligence company. We know what the world is watching, reading, and thinking about — in real time, at scale, across every screen. Our data exists with the consent of over a billion people, organized into the most complete picture of consumer attention ever built. The biggest brands in the world use that picture to make smarter decisions. We think it’s the most interesting data asset on the planet, because it’s the most culturally relevant.

We are looking for a Programmatic Account Manager to support our growing EMEA client base, with a particular focus on our German-speaking markets. The role blends client servicing, media planning, campaign management and technical support — a strong fit for a strategic, solutions-oriented professional who is curious about programmatic advertising and motivated by helping clients succeed. You will be a key point of contact for agencies, advertisers and platform partners across the region, making sure campaigns run smoothly, clients are confident on our platforms, and our full product suite is put to work driving growth.

Who You Are

- Act as the primary point of contact for EMEA clients — agencies, publishers and advertisers, with a focus on the DACH market — building strong, long-term strategic relationships.

- Lead onboarding and platform training for new clients, and provide ongoing hands-on support across Samba’s programmatic product suite and the wider ecosystem.

- Review campaign briefs, recommend targeting strategies, build custom segments and monitor performance to deliver optimisations and successful campaign delivery.

- Provide hands-on technical support, troubleshooting issues through the internal ticketing system and partnering with Product and Engineering where needed.

- Analyse client usage and engagement data to identify opportunities for greater platform adoption, and build the strategic plans and business cases to scale accounts.

- Identify and drive upsell and cross-sell opportunities, supported by regular insights, reporting and check-ins that keep clients growing and retained.

- Serve as a strategic advisor: share market trends, contribute campaign ideas, educate clients on ACR and contextual targeting, and feed client needs into product roadmap discussions.

- Contribute to internal knowledge-sharing and training that strengthens team capability and supports cross-functional collaboration.

What You'll Do

- Fluent in German and English, written and spoken — confident leading client meetings, training sessions and technical conversations in both languages.

- 2+ years’ experience in customer success, account management or technical support, ideally within ad tech or programmatic media.

- Exposure to DSPs and SSPs is a plus. Hands-on campaign setup and optimisation experience is not required — we’ll train you.

- Curious about data, targeting methodologies and digital advertising platforms, and keen to build technical depth on the job.

- Excellent communication and client-facing skills, with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach.

- Comfortable learning technical concepts and explaining them clearly to non-technical audiences.

- Enthusiastic about supporting product training and onboarding sessions as you grow into the role.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to turn data into insight.

- A collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
