Your Role

  • Assist in the development of electrical construction documents, including power plans, lighting plans, one-line diagrams, panel schedules, electrical details, specifications, equipment selections, and engineering calculations such as load analyses, voltage drop studies, short-circuit calculations, and lighting photometric evaluations using industry-standard software.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, owners, contractors, utility providers, and equipment manufacturers to resolve design issues, maintain interdisciplinary coordination, and ensure code-compliant, accurate, and constructible designs throughout all project phases.
  • Support project execution through technical problem-solving, field investigations, existing building assessments, commissioning activities, and construction administration, including reviewing RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, change orders, and conducting periodic site observations under engineer guidance.

  • Proficiency in Autodesk Revit; experience with electrical system design and analysis software preferred
  • Experience designing building power distribution, lighting, emergency/standby power, and low-voltage systems preferred
  • Strong communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively with project teams
  • Ability to provide timely, dependable, and professional service while supporting project execution in a fast-paced environment
  • Understanding of NEC, energy codes (ASHRAE 90.1 and IECC), engineering principles, and basic project budgeting and financial concepts
