The ideal candidate possesses exceptional attention to detail and a proven track record in a technical manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Execution:

  • Develop project milestones, objectives, detailed timelines, resource allocation, and budget forecasts.
  • Oversee and drive the execution of project tasks, ensuring alignment with manufacturing schedules and customer delivery expectations.
  • Manage projects focused and new product introduction (NPI), process improvements within the manufacturing line, and fulfilment of large, custom orders.

Tracking, Monitoring, and Control:

  • Establish and maintain rigorous project tracking mechanisms to monitor progress, identify deviations, and forecast potential issues.
  • Conduct regular status meetings and generate accurate, detailed progress reports for the Head of Project Management, highlighting key milestones and potential risks.
  • Manage the change control process meticulously, documenting and approving all changes to scope, schedule, or budget.
  • Ensure all manufactured products and associated documentation meet strict quality and regulatory standards.

Communication & Stakeholder Management:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for external account customers and, when necessary, internal teams regarding project status.
  • Facilitate clear and effective communication between Engineering, Production, Supply Chain, Quality Assurance, and Sales departments.
  • Proactively identify, analyze, and mitigate project risks to prevent schedule delays or budget overruns.

Process Improvement:

  • Analyze existing project management and manufacturing processes to identify inefficiencies.
  • Propose and implement improvements to optimize project flow, fulfilment speed, and overall production efficiency.

Risk Management & Safety:

  • Must comply with the company’s safety policies.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in a technical manufacturing environment, preferably within the electrical switchgear, power distribution, or the electrical construction industry.
  • Proven experience managing projects focused on product realization and manufacturing process optimization.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Technical Management, Business Administration, or a related technical field (Preferred but not required for the right candidate).
  • PMP or equivalent certification (e.g., CAPM, PRINCE2) is highly desirable.

Core Competencies:

  • Exceptional attention to detail is a must, particularly in reviewing technical specifications, bills of material (BOMs), and tracking complex production milestones.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing principles, supply chain logistics, and quality control procedures (e.g., ISO standards).
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., ERP / MRP systems).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams.
