What you'll do
- Manage water and wastewater infrastructure and process design projects for municipal and private sector clients
- Lead project teams in the preparation of construction drawings, specifications, and technical reports
- Oversee hydraulic modeling and system analysis using tools such as WaterCAD, SewerCAD, InfoWorks WS, or InfoWater
- Coordinate with clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders including water/sewer authorities
- Manage project scope, schedule, and budget to ensure successful project delivery
- Provide leadership, mentoring, and performance development for project staff
- Utilize project tracking tools to monitor progress, resources, and financial performance
- Support business development efforts and maintain strong client relationships
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
What you bring
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- 7+ years of experience in the design and management of municipal water and wastewater projects
- Strong knowledge of Civil 3D, WaterCAD, SewerCAD, and Microsoft Office applications
- Experience with InfoWorks WS and/or InfoWater (Innovyze) preferred
- Proven ability to manage multiple large or complex projects simultaneously
- Experience leading and developing project teams
- Strong understanding of project management principles including scope, schedule, and budget control
- Proficiency with project tracking tools such as Vision or Microsoft Project
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a client-focused approach
- Experience working on projects located in the southeastern United States preferred
