Are You a Good Fit For Us? We are currently seeking an experienced, professional, and compassionate Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our growing organization. Flexible hours are provided with the need of some evening hours, in-person and telehealth sessions. This position will work in collaboration with our Psychiatrist on staff.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations for all Athena clients (children and adults)
- Conduct ongoing medication management when needed
- Complete all required documentation by a given deadline and in compliance with program and state regulations
- Ensures all clinical notes and client information are updated and accurate within the current EHR system
- Provide conflict resolution and crisis intervention when needed
- Work in collaboration with administrative staff to ensure client needs are successfully met
- Ability to commute between sites when needed
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Nursing from an accredited school
- Bilingual in English and Spanish A MUST
- Must be certified with the Drug Enforcement Administration in order to prescribe medication to clients
- Must be licensed in New York State
- Experience working with Medicaid/Medicare Clients is a plus
- Must be passionate about working with underserved communities and possess a high level of engagement, entrepreneurial, and interpersonal skills
