Position Overview
As a Real Estate Instructor, you will have the opportunity to teach, mentor, and inspire future leaders in real estate finance. In this role, you will:
- Serve as a lead facilitator for real estate classroom training sessions, guiding students and professionals as they build the critical skills needed to excel in their real estate careers.
- Develop your public speaking and presentation skills, establish your personal brand as a thought leader in real estate finance, and expand your professional network across the financial services and real estate industries.
The ideal candidate has deep experience in real estate finance and a passion for sharing knowledge through teaching.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver in-person and virtual training seminars for clients, including:
- Undergraduate and MBA students at leading business schools.
- Professionals at investment banks, private equity firms, and other corporate institutions.
- Conduct one-on-one tutoring sessions to provide personalized support to students.
- Collaborate with WSP to:
- Enhance existing training materials and ensure they remain industry-relevant.
- Develop new course content to meet evolving client needs.
- Successfully complete WSP’s Train-the-Trainer Program, a professional development program designed to equip instructors with advanced teaching skills.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience:
- At least 3+ years of experience in real estate-focused roles at an investment bank, private equity firm, or other investment firm.
- Experience working with Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs) is a plus.
- Education:
- MBA from a top business school preferred but not required.
- Skills & Passion:
- Strong accounting, financial modeling, Excel, and PowerPoint skills.
- In-depth knowledge of real estate finance and analysis.
- A genuine passion for teaching and mentoring students.
- Availability:
- Flexibility to conduct training sessions Monday–Friday and weekends as needed.
- Ability to commit to at least 10 training days per year, with availability for domestic and international travel.
