The Role

The Recruitment Supervisor is responsible for managing end-to-end recruitment operations, ensuring efficient talent acquisition processes, and leading a team of recruitment specialists and recruitment and sourcing administrators in meeting client and organizational hiring goals. This role requires strong leadership skills, deep recruitment experience, and the ability to build scalable processes while maintaining excellent candidate and client experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and support a team of recruitment specialists to meet hiring KPIs and quality standards.
  • Conduct regular performance check-ins, coaching sessions, and training to improve recruiter capabilities.
  • Oversee daily recruitment workflows, ensuring task alignment and productivity.
  • Collaborate with management to assess staffing needs and allocate team resources effectively.
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for mid to senior-level roles, from sourcing to onboarding.
  • Create and implement recruitment strategies based on client needs, market conditions, and role requirements.
  • Review, screen, and evaluate candidate applications to ensure alignment with job qualifications.
  • Conduct competency interviews and assess candidate fit using structured evaluation methods.
  • Evaluate and improve recruitment workflows, tools, and documentation to enhance efficiency.
  • Maintain consistency in hiring practices and ensure compliance with internal and client-specific policies.
  • Lead initiatives that improve candidate experience and retention.
  • Monitor industry trends and recommend innovative sourcing and selection strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Must have experience hiring virtual assistants or have worked with a staffing agency offering virtual assistant services.
  • At least 2 years of leadership or team lead experience in a recruitment setting
  • Bachelor’s degree in any of the following: Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Human Operations Management, Organizational Development, Communication, English, or similar
  • Proven solid experience in talent sourcing and hiring; recruitment marketing is a plus!
  • Must have experience working as a full-cycle recruiter and sourcing high-quality candidates (required)
  • Must have experience sourcing through social media (Facebook, TikTok, Instagram etc.)
  • Must have experience working with at least one applicant tracking system (ATS)
  • Has used data to validate the success of hiring efforts (required)
  • Must have experience working with online meeting platform skills (Google Meet, Zoom, or Skype)
  • Strong calendar management skills and attention to detail (required)
  • Critical thinking skills, attention to detail, strong verbal and written communication in English (required)
  • A tech-savvy individual with a strong analytical mindset and the ability to extrapolate big goals into specific actionable plans (required)
  • Confident, coachable, and enthusiastic team player who thrives in a fast-moving environment (required)
  • Interested in tech, analytical work, startup companies, and working with people to build things (preferred)
  • Experience with any of the following software: Discord, ClickUp, G-Suite, Zoho, or Any Applicant Tracking System (preferred)
