Job description
We’re looking for a Referee / Broadcast Operator to join our esports studio operations team.
In this role, you’ll oversee live esports matches while operating the broadcast, ensuring every stream runs smoothly, players follow procedures, and match integrity is maintained. You’ll work in a fast-paced production environment, supporting live broadcasts, monitoring players, resolving technical issues, and coordinating with the operations team throughout your shift.
Responsibilities
- Operate live broadcasts using OBS Studio
- Monitor stream quality, cameras, audio, and gameplay
- Supervise players and ensure competitive integrity
- Verify match setup and record match results accurately
- Troubleshoot technical issues during live productions
- Communicate operational updates and incidents
- Complete shift handovers and operational reports
Requirements
- Experience with OBS Studio or live streaming software
- Passion for gaming and esports
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to stay calm under pressure
- Excellent attention to detail
- Intermediate English
- Availability to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends
Nice to Have
- Experience with esports events or tournaments
- Knowledge of EA SPORTS FC, NBA 2K, or Madden NFL
- Familiarity with Discord, Slack, and live production workflows
