Job description

Company Overview

Ambiq is on a mission to enable intelligence everywhere — powering the AI edge revolution with the world's lowest-power semiconductor solutions.

Built on our proprietary sub- and near-threshold technology, our chips deliver multi-fold improvements in energy efficiency without costly process scaling. Since 2010, we've shipped over 300 million units to customers building smarter wearables, medical devices, IoT products, and AI-powered edge applications.

Our cross-functional teams span design, research, development, production, marketing, sales, and operations across Austin, Hsinchu, Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Singapore. We move fast, tackle hard problems, and create space for people to grow through complex, meaningful work that shapes the future of technology.

We're looking for self-motivated, creative problem-solvers who are eager to push technological limits and make a real impact in energy efficiency.

At Ambiq, we live by five values: Innovate. Collaborate. Focus. Learn. Achieve.

If that's you, join us — the intelligence everywhere revolution starts here.

About the role

Based in Shenzhen, you will grow Ambiq's business in China by expanding existing accounts, developing new opportunities, and securing design wins. You will own customer relationships and coordinate internal teams and distributors to move projects from initial engagement through design-in, design win, and mass production, with a focus on revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

  • Experience with a semiconductor manufacturer or distributor, particularly serving consumer electronics, IoT, or wearable customers.
  • Deliver revenue targets in China by developing and executing sales plans for assigned accounts and new business opportunities.
  • Create demand across edge AI, IoT, medical, industrial, and wearable applications; guide opportunities from design-in to design win and mass production.
  • Build and maintain relationships with customer decision-makers, engineering teams, and purchasing teams; understand their product roadmaps and business needs.
  • Understand each customer's supply chain, purchasing processes, and third-party ecosystem to support account development and project execution.
  • Coordinate internal technical and commercial resources to address customer requirements, resolve issues, and advance project milestones.
  • Provide timely sales forecasts and updates on customer demand, project status, and risks to support production planning.
  • Manage distributors to expand customer coverage, develop opportunities, and support sales execution.
  • Monitor competitors, market trends, and emerging applications; share insights to inform sales priorities and business development.

Required qualifications

  • At least 6 years of integrated circuit sales experience, with a background in microcontrollers (MCUs), RF products, sensors, or other electronic components.
  • Experience managing customer relationships and brand accounts, with the ability to understand customer needs and develop business opportunities.
  • Ability to align internal teams and resources to achieve customer and business goals.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and follow-through.
  • Good English communication skills for working with cross-functional teams.
