Role Overview
The Salesforce Administrator is responsible for the end-to-end administration, maintenance, and optimization of the Salesforce platform. This role ensures system stability, supports business users, assesses technical feasibility for enhancement requests, and drives continuous improvement in CRM processes and data management.
Key Responsibilities
Platform Administration & Operations
- Ensure system availability, performance, and data integrity within Salesforce
- Manage users, roles, profiles, permission sets, and access controls
- Perform routine system maintenance, including data quality checks, backups, and updates
- Monitor and troubleshoot system issues, including integrations, workflows, and automation errors
- Coordinate with internal teams and vendors for system enhancements, patches, and issue resolution
User Support & Enablement
- Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for Salesforce functionalities and best practices
- Provide day-to-day support to business users, including issue resolution and request handling
- Conduct user training and onboarding sessions on Salesforce usage and features
- Translate business requirements into system configurations and solutions
Configuration & Customization
- Configure and maintain objects, fields, validation rules, workflows, flows, and page layouts
- Support process automation using tools such as Flow and Process Builder
- Manage reports and dashboards to support business insights and decision-making
Feasibility Assessment & Solution Advisory
- Assess enhancement requests for technical feasibility within Salesforce
- Provide solution recommendations, effort estimation, and highlight potential constraints
- Collaborate with developers or architects for more complex customizations and integrations
Data Management & Governance
- Maintain data quality, consistency, and security standards
- Support data migration, cleansing, and deduplication activities
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and data governance practices
Documentation & Continuous Improvement
- Maintain documentation of system configurations, processes, and changes
- Identify opportunities to improve system efficiency and reduce manual processes
- Stay updated on Salesforce releases and recommend new features where applicable
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Salesforce Administrator
- Strong understanding of Salesforce configuration (objects, fields, workflows, flows, security model)
- Experience in user management, reporting, and dashboard creation
- Knowledge of integrations and data management best practices
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Good stakeholder communication and ability to translate business needs into system solutions
Desirable Attributes
- Salesforce Administrator certification (preferred)
- Experience working in cross-functional teams

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
