Job Overview:

This role involves working within the Delivery department to provide senior-level engineering expertise on existing projects. You will leverage advanced technical skills in Terraform, Azure, IIS, Azure SQL, and Azure Networking to ensure effective project delivery and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform and Azure technologies.
  • Ensure optimal Azure network configuration to support secure and scalable operations.
  • Configure and maintain IIS servers for seamless application hosting and performance.
  • Develop and optimize Azure SQL databases for high efficiency in data processing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet deliverables and deadlines effectively.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to infrastructure and application services.
  • Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies to continuously enhance project outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain reusable Terraform modules and templates.
  • Automate infrastructure deployment across Azure, AWS, and multi-cloud environments.
  • Integrate Terraform deployments with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub).
  • Manage Terraform state, backend configuration, and drift remediation.
  • Implement cloud infrastructure security, governance, and compliance controls.
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues.
  • Perform code reviews and enforce Terraform standards and best practices.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and operational runbooks.

Key Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Experience with Azure and/or AWS cloud platforms.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools and DevOps practices.
  • Experience with Git, YAML pipelines, and version control.
  • Understanding of Kubernetes, Containers, and Cloud Networking.
  • Scripting experience with PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Terraform Associate Certification.
  • Azure DevOps, Azure Administrator, or Cloud certifications.
  • Experience with AKS, EKS, Helm, Docker, and enterprise cloud platforms.
  • 4 - 9 years of relevant professional experience.
