Role details
Job description
Company Overview: Radiant is redefining how AI infrastructure is built. We design and operate AI-native cloud platforms engineered for sovereignty, performance, and scale. Our infrastructure powers GPU-native workloads, multi-tenant control planes, and high-performance AI systems designed for the most demanding environments. We are not building a generic cloud. We are building purpose-built AI infrastructure — from powered land, to compute, to software. As we scale, we're building this organisation from the ground up. We're looking for people who'd rather build the playbook than inherit one — who are comfortable doing the work themselves as well as directing others, and who can adapt as fast as our strategy does. This is a startup model: attitude and adaptability matter more to us than years of experience or the size of team you've previously managed. This is a cross-functional role requiring strong technical, commercial, and delivery capabilities, with exposure to executive stakeholders and certification bodies, auditors, investors and lenders, and the regional Stakeholder & Community leads.
What You'll Do
You'll build Radiant's ESG function from scratch; carbon methodology, certifications, and investor/lender reporting. You'll be doing the analysis and writing the disclosures yourself in the early stages, not just setting policy for others to execute.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Methodology
- Build Radiant's carbon accounting methodology and sustainability commitments (net-zero, PPAs, water usage) from a blank page.
- Personally run the certification process (e.g. BREEAM, LEED) on live projects rather than delegating it.
- Help shape Radiant's ESG processes and policies from the ground up, aligned to industry best practice.
Reporting
- Write investor and lender ESG disclosures yourself in the early stages.
- Coordinate with regional Stakeholder & Community leads on social-impact commitments.
What You Bring:
- Attitude matters more to us here than number of years of experience.
- Experience in sustainability, ESG or carbon strategy roles, ideally in infrastructure, real estate or energy.
- Comfort doing the technical carbon or certification work yourself, not just setting direction for a team.
- Ability to write clearly for an investor or lender audience.
- We're looking for someone who wants to build the function, not manage an existing one.
- Familiarity with the EU Code of Conduct for Data Centres — Radiant is not based in the EU, but this remains relevant to the role.
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):
- Experience with BREEAM and/or LEED certification processes.
- Exposure to green financing or sustainability-linked loans.
- Familiarity with renewable PPA structures.
Qualities we look for:
- Set the standard: Every single day, you spot opportunities to constructively shake things up.
- Inspire the change: There's no blueprint for the future. You'll embrace challenges and change.
- You're real and you're true to yourself: We cherish and celebrate diversity so you'll feel right at home whoever you are and whoever you're talking to, you treat everyone the same.
- Get stuck in: You'd rather be building than overseeing. Our strategy will keep evolving, and so will you — attitude and adaptability matter more to us than a fixed playbook or a big team behind you.
