**CONTINGENT UPON CONTRACT AWARD**

Overview:

Position Title: Senior Network / Telecommunications Engineer

Security Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain required CAC/NIPRNet access and satisfy applicable Government suitability requirements. (Secret or higher preferred.)

Location: Scott AFB, IL / Alternative Work Site

(Due to the nature of the work and contract requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.)

Summary:

C3EL is seeking Senior Network/Telecommunications Engineers to provide technical engineering support for DoD telecommunications transition activities. The engineer will assess existing network and telecommunications configurations, evaluate technical alternatives, develop requirements, and support transition planning, ordering, implementation, and technical issue resolution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and assess existing telecommunications and network configurations.
  • Analyze technical requirements and recommend alternative technical solutions.
  • Support transition of legacy telecommunications services to current Government contract solutions.
  • Develop and review technical requirements supporting PWSs, bid models, IGCEs, QASPs, and related acquisition documentation.
  • Assist customers in defining network and telecommunications requirements.
  • Support transition planning, provisioning, implementation, cutover, validation, and technical problem resolution.
  • Evaluate technologies and recommend solutions that satisfy operational and technical requirements.
  • Support continuous process improvement and development of standardized technical processes.
  • Work with technologies including transport/access, private line, MPLS, Ethernet, optical networking, IP VPN, VoIP, managed network services, voice, satellite, and wireless services.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizenship.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain required CAC/NIPRNet access and satisfy applicable Government suitability requirements.
  • Demonstrated senior-level experience in telecommunications, network engineering, or comparable DoD/Federal technical environments.
  • Experience analyzing telecommunications/network configurations and developing technical solutions.
  • Knowledge of enterprise telecommunications and network technologies.
  • Experience supporting technical requirements development, transition planning, provisioning, or implementation.
  • Strong technical documentation and customer communication skills.

Education:

  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
