Job description

NewForm: The Creative Intelligence Company NewForm helps category disruptors like Kalshi, ElevenLabs, Perplexity, and others scale paid ads by turning creative into a measurable, repeatable growth system. We oversee $100M+ per year in paid media spend and create thousands of human ads each month, with each ad making our system smarter. We’re looking for a Senior Performance Creative Strategist to lead creative strategy and execution for our clients. You’ll own the process from performance insights to concepts, scripts, production, and iteration, building ads that connect with audiences and drive measurable results.

Why NewForm

At NewForm, creative is central to how our clients grow. You’ll work directly with ambitious high-growth brands, turn performance data into creative decisions, and see the impact of your work in market. We value ownership, clear communication, curiosity, and strong creative judgment. This is a role for someone who wants to take responsibility for outcomes, move quickly, and help shape how great performance creative gets made.

What You’ll Do

  • Own creative strategy and execution for assigned clients, serving as their primary creative point of contact.
  • Translate client goals, audience insights, and performance data into creative strategies and actionable test plans.
  • Lead concept development and scripting across hooks, angles, formats, and storytelling approaches.
  • Guide our in-house content team and external creators through production, providing clear briefs and actionable feedback.
  • Partner closely with editors to bring concepts to life and maintain a high standard of creative quality.
  • Analyze creative performance, identify what’s working and why, and turn those findings into the next round of testing.
  • Manage multiple clients and production workflows, keeping priorities, timelines, and deliverables on track.
  • Lead brainstorms, present creative recommendations, and build client confidence in the strategy.
  • Set a high bar for creative thinking and execution, sharing feedback and learnings that help other creatives grow.
  • Stay close to culture, platform trends, and emerging tools to uncover fresh creative opportunities.

Who You Are

  • 5 to 7 years of experience in performance creative strategy, with a track record of concepting, writing, and producing paid ads that drive measurable results.
  • A strong writer and storyteller who understands how hooks, pacing, messaging, and visual execution influence performance.
  • Creative and analytical in equal measure. You can find meaningful signals in performance data and turn them into clear creative hypotheses.
  • Comfortable owning the full creative process, from an initial idea through production, delivery, and iteration.
  • Confident working directly with clients, explaining your thinking, and turning feedback into productive next steps.
  • Organized and decisive, with the ability to manage competing priorities across multiple accounts.
  • A collaborative leader who gives clear direction, raises the quality of the work, and takes responsibility for results.
  • Curious, resourceful, and comfortable experimenting when there isn’t an established playbook.

Bonus Points

  • Experience creating direct response ads for consumer brands or apps.
  • Experience directing creators, producing UGC, or working across multiple paid social formats.
  • Proficiency with AI tools for ideation, scripting, production, or editing.
  • Experience mentoring creatives or improving creative production workflows.
  • Experience working within a high-growth startup environment.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Annual base salary: $100,000–$140,000
  • Performance bonus of up to 20% based on impact
  • Company-paid health, dental, and vision insurance.
  • $300 monthly commuter benefit.
  • Unlimited PTO / sick days
  • Team offsites

Location: This is a full-time, in-office position based in New York City, with five days per week in the office.

We encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet every qualification. We’re a team of industry outsiders rethinking how growth is done, and we welcome people from diverse backgrounds who bring fresh perspectives, strong judgment, and a desire to keep learning.

Why work at Newform

  • Culture: Described as a "tech-enabled agency" blending creative and engineering. The company emphasizes that "people make the ads" and "software learns from them" — appealing to those who want hands-on creative work backed by data.
  • Work Mode: Hybrid. HQ in New York City (NOMAD studio), with remote roles available. Some positions require on-site presence in NYC.
  • Engineering Culture: Small but growing engineering team (3 engineers currently, ~7% of workforce). Engineers work on Framework, WillBot, and the creative ontology — high-impact, data-intensive problems.
  • Growth Trajectory: 100% headcount growth YoY; company is still early-stage (founded 2023) but scaling fast — opportunity for early employees to shape the direction.
  • Perks: Not explicitly listed, but the company offers a referral bonus ($5k) and operates a cutting-edge studio environment. Note: Glassdoor-style reviews on LinkedIn rate the company 2.1/5.0 (8 reviews) with criticism around work-life balance and compensation — candidates should verify current culture directly.
  • Diversity: Operates across 11 countries with employees in the US, Mexico, India, Canada, Indonesia, Pakistan, South Africa, UK, Philippines, Italy, and more.
