Job description
About Casa
We believe owning a home should feel as special as the moments that take place within them. If our mission inspires you, we'd love to hear from you.
About the role
We’re hiring a Senior Product Designer to craft best-in-class products that solve real-world problems facing homeowners. You’ll work closely with our founders, fellow engineers, and designers to create thoughtful and groundbreaking products that deliver exceptional value to our members. You'll help build our core systems and product and define much of our team culture.
Some of the responsibilities you’ll have
- Lead the design process for our iOS apps, ensuring a seamless user experience for members and vendors
- Prototype and iterate on new features to quickly respond to user needs and feedback
- Collaborate closely with engineers to create intuitive, beautiful, and functional user interfaces that bring our product vision to life
About you
- You’re well experienced. 5+ years in product design, with a strong track record of designing and shipping mobile apps, and a deep proficiency in Figma
- You’re passionate about user-centered design. You care deeply about crafting intuitive, delightful user experiences and have a portfolio that demonstrates your design thinking and process
- You’re excited to be a founding designer at an early-stage startup. This means that there’s a lot of systems and structure yet to be put in place, and you’ll play an active role in building and shaping those alongside our company culture
- You thrive in fast-moving, unstructured environments. We move quickly, and we’re looking for someone who is excited to set the design direction and increase our pace. (If you’re looking for the stability and structure that comes along with a more established company, this probably isn’t the right time)
- You’re an owner, not a renter. You always take a long-term view when making design decisions, and consider the company’s best interests as if they were your own. We’re looking for folks who are excited to take initiative, be trusted with broad responsibility, and who have the good judgment necessary for it
- You’re ready to roll up your sleeves and get to work. We’re not looking for managers or people who want to delegate at this time. We’re looking for folks who get satisfaction from creating beautiful designs, getting things done, and learning quickly along the way
- You’re at your best around others. We’re intentionally building an in-person culture to feed off of each other’s energy, collaborate and brainstorm together, and get the fulfillment that comes with healthy interactions with coworkers on a daily basis
- You’re mission-oriented and stage-aware. Startups are fragile, and you know that every decision we make increases or decreases the odds of our company’s success. You’re ready to dedicate your time and attention at work to solving our business challenges, not to address political or societal issues
Why work at Casa
- Culture & mission: “We believe owning a home should feel as special as the moments that take place within them.” The company is early‑stage and mission‑driven, offering the chance to shape a product that redefines homeownership.
- Remote/hybrid flexibility: Job postings include remote, on‑site, and hybrid options depending on role. Engineering and some operations roles are fully remote; field roles (handymen, inventory specialists) are on‑site in specific metro areas.
- Growth trajectory: With massive headcount growth, recent funding, and a clear product‑market fit in two major metros, employees can expect rapid career development and ownership.
- Diverse roles: Openings range from backend engineering and product design to in‑home inventory specialists and vendor partnerships – appealing to both technical and operational talent.
- Perks: The membership itself likely offers benefits to employees (free or discounted home management services), though not explicitly stated. The company emphasizes “love for every homeowner” and a deep technical approach.
