You will work closely with Data Science, Engineering, and go-to-market teams to build a market leading product and drive growth.
This is a high-ownership, externally-facing role requiring strong product judgment, AML domain curiosity, and the ability to operate across complex partner and customer relationships.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Product Strategy & Roadmap
- Own the Watchlist product roadmap, balancing compliance accuracy, customer needs, and engineering capacity.
- Translate market trends, regulatory changes, and customer feedback into product priorities and requirements.
- Define and track key product metrics: screening accuracy, false positive rates, match coverage, and customer outcomes.
Screening, Monitoring & AI Development
- Drive improvements to Watchlist's core individual screening and monitoring capabilities, including name match accuracy and data coverage.
- Work with Engineering to evolve the platform's scalability, reliability, and integration with Socure's broader product suite.
- Work with data science to build our next generation data ingestion technology to improve the accuracy of our watchlist data.
- Develop and maintain machine learning systems that keep our patented real-time matching engine at the highest levels of recall and precision.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Collaborate with Engineering, Data Science, and Compliance Ops to translate requirements into executable plans.
- Partner with Sales, Customer Success, and GTM to support deal cycles and retain and grow Watchlist's enterprise customer base.
- Represent product externally with compliance buyers, at industry events, and in customer conversations.
Data & Performance Analysis
- Use SQL and analytics to evaluate product performance and derive insights that shape prioritization.
- Conduct competitive analysis and deep dives on emerging compliance requirements and market opportunities.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Experience: 3–5 years in product management, preferably in compliance technology, AML/sanctions screening, identity verification, or ML-driven products.
- Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with AML/BSA regulations, sanctions screening workflows, or financial crime compliance is strongly preferred.
- Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of APIs, data pipelines, and ML model behavior; comfortable reviewing technical specs and writing SQL.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to evaluate screening performance metrics (recall, precision, hit rate) and translate them into product decisions.
- Customer Focus: Experience working directly with compliance buyers, financial institutions, or enterprise customers in complex environments.
- Communication: Ability to explain technical or compliance concepts clearly to engineering partners, compliance buyers, and executive stakeholders.
- Collaboration: Proven ability to work cross-functionally with Engineering, Data Science, and go-to-market teams in a fast-paced environment.
